Every single day, India loses the value of millions of skills — not because the skill isn't there, but because nobody outside a small circle can ever find it.
And on the other side, the same loss repeats. An elderly couple, their children living in another city, wait for days when something breaks at home, because they don't know who to call. A newly married couple, just moved to a new city, don't know a single trustworthy person nearby. A mother wants a good tutor for her child, and the only method she has is asking around — and hoping the advice was right.
The trust is there. It just isn't visible.
The skill exists. The need exists. Both are on the same street. But they stay invisible to each other — because trust in India has always relied on personal memory, not structured identity. The moment anyone steps outside their small circle, the system quietly fails.
We want a India where a skilled person's name travels beyond their own pincode — where their reputation is built by real work, and it stays with them wherever they go. And an India where anyone, in any new place, can find someone trustworthy nearby, without needing to know somebody first.
"Knowing someone trustworthy nearby" stops being a matter of luck, and becomes something people can simply expect — in every neighbourhood, in every city, for every kind of skill, if this succeeds over the next twenty years.
